Idea of ISEET is good but IITs should not be included in it and 12 board marks should not be given weightage because it will lead to corruption at school level and also all boards can’t have same marking scheme and level of examination.there are many state boards which have semester system.

  • mknannapaneni says:

It is better to look at the positive aspects of the ISEET proposed. ISEET should be conducted from 2013 onwords. It will do away with multiple entrance examinations and reduce the stress levels of students. Whether the weightage of Class 12 Board examinations will be only for group marks or group and languages together. What is meant that Weightage: At least 40% to Class XII Board Exams (Can go up to 100%). Pl clarify

  • shivanshu says:

    idea..is..good..but..giving..weightage..to..board..exam..will..surely..reduce..the..quality..of..IITS…..COZ..BOARD..exams..stand..nothing.in,,front..of..IIT..level…and..even..a..cramer..can..score..in..boards

    • sartaj says:

      i…so…agree…with…you.
Also, why the bloody hell would the IITS want to drop down to the AIEEE level?

Instead of “reducing” our stress level, this has instead increased it tenfold…

  • Rajdeep Mazumder says:

I think mainly taking of 12 board exam s wieghtage is good but single exam is not totally good. But all over it will bring multi talented student to IITs and NITs who r not only a bookworm but also have aptitude for engineering

  • Anshuman Sarngi says:

The idea proposed by the govt. of India is the best…The IIT chairmans should accept it to bring a revolutionary change for the betterment of this country & its students…Giving weightage to board exams is surely a good idea to make the students realise the importance of board exam along with entrance exams….Go ahead…with…ISEET 2013 !!!

    • shubham says:

giving board marks weigtage will increse pressure because to get 95%marks will become more imporant for students rather than preparing for jee and a very true fact is EVERY 95%marks getting student is not genius and EVERY 70% marks getting student is not a fool…and main thing jee is perfect competition it does not need any change making changes in it will only increse burden on students…

  • Sandeep Kumar says:

Idea of ISEET is completly a garbage….u have only got one chance..if by chance your exam didnt go well or if someone misses the exam than your whole career gets spoiled…plus board exams result…it is completely senseless..the present system is best…U have JEE,AIEEE,BITSAT,VIT,STATE ENGG EXAM…that means u have multiple exams…if one exam didnt go well u have another chance to perform that means u have still got oppurtunities to get in good college…Thatswhy i am against it…

  • nirmal says:

all board are not of same difficulty level, some board are tough so students studying in tough board score less marks.iseet should be adopted from 2014 and some some changes should be done at 10+2 level otherwise level of iits will go down.

or boards should be given less weightage 10% or 20%

  • SUMAN says:

I think ISEET would be a good thing, if properly made. if the iseet would be in three steps instead of two it would be great. 1st steps for those who just want to take admission at state level.
2nd step for those who want to take admission in NIT etc. 3rd step for those who want to take admission for IIT. With 20% weightage to board marks and 80% weightage to iseet

  • sachin modhe says:

hi i respect your work over iseet because i believe it is most important that poor students will be appreciated through it since they need not to fill a lot of examination form and vast their money but with the help of iseet they can give their best on concentrating on one exam….
wish you all the best for this step…..

  • anusuiya dhakada says:

if iseet is doing something good for the people than we should not interfere in that students go here and their and vast a lot of money for the examination and i believe that all the students will be benificial of this…..i respect of your step and with you…..

    • soujanya kumar mukherjee says:

ISEET IS GREAT AS IT HEPLS STUDIOUS STUDENTS , BUT DOESNT GIVE CHANCES FOR PRODIGIES TO PROSPER , I MEAN U DONT EXPECT FARMERS SONS TO BECOME IITIANS AND THEY CANT AFFORD IT , THEY CAN ONLY AFFORD THEIR STATE GOVERNMENT COLLEGES. ALSO THE MERGING OF THE WILL LOWER THE STANDARD OF THE PAPER AND THE IITIANS PRODUCED , INDIA WONT BE ABLE TO PROSPER

  • Shabeeb says:

Don’t conduct iseet from 2013 and don’t take +2 marks for it

  • anshul says:

what i think about iseet that… It will not affect the selection of toppers(rank up to 800 in jee) in iit becoz what ever may be pattern they can do good in either it is jee or iseet.becoz who crack jee with good ranks also get good %in bords .mainly iseet going to affect those who are average students.

  • Guru says:

yes, i liked the idea of having iseet.

no, the quality of students in IIT will not fall.

I THINK that using the 12th class marks in merit is not a good idea because different states have different structure of syllabus.

  • Shubham Bhattacharya says:

everything is all right- the aptitude based exam, the statistical formula, the eligibility criteria…but what the respected concerned indivudual or authority should look upon is that starting this examination from 2013 hampers the future of some students , that is , the fresh 2013 batch and the repeators for 2013. my opinion is to let these students give IIT-JEE and AIEEE as previously.ISEET should be started from 2014 for the good of all.

  • Shubham Bhattacharya says:

more pityful is for repeators sitting in 2013 as knowing all the facts they can do nothing about it…neither can they rectify thier board marks nor can they set their mind for the completely new exam pattern

  • nisith mohanty says:

iseet is an excellent idea it will develop the standard of students bcoz now talented and skillfull students may get admission to prestigious institutes sir, there are many talented students who are trying hard to get iit and nit but they are not getting good education platform so iseet should give chance 3 to 4 times for a student to appear and it should implemented in 2013 bcoz it is new for all and it will not hamper any one preparation and its hope to get into iit,s and nit,s and fresher should appear it once to get a experience and 12 board marks should not be included bcoz in many state board it is hard to score good marks

  • Rishabh jain says:

Iseet will be a good opportunity mainly for those students who cannot afford the expenditure of coaching inst. and they became shortlisted in taking admis. in top inst. like iit and nit because they are only depend on pcm. But from iseet poor students will also have a chance to secure in top instutions

  • Rishabh jain says:

HRD minister take a very excellent descission by launching isset 2013. It is designed mind blowingly. It is not only depand on the PCM rather it is also depandent on board exam and aptitude test which will analysing the student properly but it is going to be real tough . There is no any exam in the whole world like isset and i hope it will more improve quality of top engeneering institutions of india.

if iseet is going to happen it should be from 2014 or 2015..so that students can mentally prepare themselves for the change in exam pattern…if it is going to happen in 2013 it is severly going to afeect the careers of droppers…because they cant change their board marks..even though they would have been good students…its goona more stressful for the droppers because the pattern of question will be unknown and it will be their last chance to get to good colleges…

Iseet is like a golden opportunity for those students who only believe in self studies… but main problem is with those students who taking aieee/jee coaching… their money and time will be spoiled… but we should understand that in our country there are many brilliant minds who cannot afford money for aieee/jee coaching… iseet give equal opportunity to every student… in case for the students who r taking aieee/jee coaching… iseet would much a lot easier to score excellent marks than in aieee/jee… so why they opposes the iseet system… according to me introduction of iseet will be a revolutionary change in the corrupt system of our education… therefore iseet should introduce as early as possible

1)What is the fate of students whose state does not implement the scheme?

2)yes , students will engage in stereotype learning for IIT.

3)Good scheme , students well gain hold over the subject. Not just rote coaching.Papers to set and corrected at central level

Pure sciences and mathematics will be neglected.

4)What will, be the fate of students all over India, if the paper is leaked ?

  • ANAMIKA says:

I THINK ISEET IS REALLY A GOOD IDEA. AS FAR AS BOARD MARKS IS CONSIDERED, IF A STUDENT HAS THE POTENTIAL TO CRACK IIT FOR SURE HE CAN SCORE GOOD AT BOARDS AS BOARDS QUESTIONS ARE OF COURSE NOT TOUGHER THAN IIT. BUT AS EVERY STATE BOARD AS DIFFERENT CRITERIA SO DIFFERENT WEIGHATAGE OF DIFFERENT STATE BOARDS SHOULD BE GIVEN, BUT ISEET SHOULD BE APPLIED FROM 2014 ONLY, AS AN YEAR SHOULD BE GIVEN TO STUDENTS TO UNDERSTAND THE NEW PATTERN AND CRITERIA, THE PRESENT 2012 BATCHES HAVE ALREADT TAKEN UP THEIR XII BOARD EXAMS AND HARDLY WE HAVE 9 MONTHS TO PREPARE FOR IITJEE, IN THIS CASE IF SUDDENLY PATTERN CHANGES AND APTITUDE TEST ARE INCLUDED , IT WOULD BE VERY DIFFICULT FOR PRESENT XII BATCHES.

  • Harshita says:

The idea of merging the exams is good since then students won’t have to go to different cities for different exams & sometimes two exams are scheduled on the same day like this year ISAT & VIT were.Good for students of small cities where students have to rush to different cities in crowded trains & buses sometimes harming their sleep a day before the exam. But on the other hand, if a student falls ill on the test day & fails to give his peak performance,it would do him much harm than good. Also the students who just passed XII this year & are preparing to take drop, they may be in loss, since they just focused on the Engineering entrance exams without giving much attention to their board exams.

  • bilal says:

i think iseet should be conducted on 2014, as many of us are not totally aware of iseet

  • shameelkp says:

Hello everyone.I would like to speak as one of a ‘student’ regarding this issue .Iam a plus two passed out student this year and i was thought to drop out for the year 2013.But unfortunately this decision regarding ISEET-2013 brought me a lot of confusions and difficulties until today.I got an average mark in plus two .But this decision gave me a lot of tensions and iam still confused to drop out or not in 2013.

I didn’d like the plan to conduct a single entrance examination in our country.Iam completely against this opinion.Definitely this will destroy the quality and the brand of our top class prestigious institute “IIT”, which produces the best crafts in all the fields!.And also iam against the decision to giving weightage to plus two board exam.As a student i know the difficulty iam facing now regarding these ISEET. you cannot change a system suddenly because it can cause many of us(students) expectations, hardwork and future spoiled.so a sudden action regarding ISEET is not favourable…it only give chance for those who scored high marks in plus two board exam…but you want to remember that still there are many who has been dreaming of IIT’s,NIT’s who had scored an average mark.so i would like to request our HRD ministry not to take a sudden decision regarding this and to continue the earlier pattern of examination for IIT-JEE,AIEEE,etc for the coming year, 2013.If needed you can bring this into existence after two or three years(2014,2015 onwards),so that students can really understand the entrance system and prepare for that without any confusions.so on this day ,may 28 iam expecting a positive decision for all the students that is to be finalised.Thank u…

  • vijay says:

The introduction of iseet will have both positive as well as the negative impacts.FIRST OF ALL the present system gives more oppourtunity for students to get into reputed colleges as they have more options such as iit, aieee, and other exams.but if iseet is introduced they have only one option and if they fail it then they are gone.suppose a student falls sick at the time of his board exams and scores below his potentiality then it may cost him very much as percentile is considered.ofcourse the introduction of iseet will surely reduce the pressure of multiple exams, but it will cost a person who unavoidably scored below his capacity in his board exams.

  • Aditya says:

    My opinion on iseet
    Merits
1)Saves money nowadays people have to shell out a lot of money on single entrance exam
2)Time saving instead of writing different exam for more than a month
    3)Creates a healthy competitive environment

    Demerits
1)12th exam is not conducted in a fair manner across india
2)increase in illegal methods to pass exam
3)Quality of students getting into iit may decrese as paper is set kepping in mind student of all levels

In my opinion iseet’s proposed pattern hve both good and bad side.the most revolutionary and best part of iseet is to considering 40%mark of class12 and also conducting of iseet twice in a year which surly reduce the pressure from student’s mind but as every thing have bad side so iseet also have bad side and it is to hve all engeniaring exam common in a one day as one day may go wrong for any body.

  • M.Ram Mohan says:

It is a new revolutionary in the entrance exam for engineering by adding aptitude, logical reasoning and english.Because,Now a days students are forgetting the basic things and getting seats in IITs.Students need not pay more amount on no.of exams like IIT,AIEEE,VIT,…etc…and need not to bear the pressure of many exam patterns and syllabii.Since the exam is only one the student can concentrate more on subject.
I dont agree with the opinion of adding 12th class marks for ISEET. Because,Students can easily get marks in class 12th by mugging up the important questions, which an IIT student should not follow infact every student should not follow. This process is encouraging the students to go in that way, so please try to remove the 12th class marks in ISSET.

  • anonomous says:

There are thousands of kids throughout the nation who score amazingly in competitive exams but score mere 80% in CBSE Boards..
    this is not fair…
ALL those who planned to drop this year have LOST THEIR CHANCES!!!!!

    Also the reservation is killing!!!

    its sounds immpossible

  • shivansh singh says:

1)YES,I LIKED PLAN THE SINCE IT WILL REDUCE FINANCIAL BURDEN AND STUDENT WILL HAVE TO CONCENTRATE ON ONLY ONE EXAM PATTERN ONLY ONE COUNSELING
2)NO,SINCE GOOD STUDENT CAN ADOPT ANY PATTERN IF IT IS ON SCIENCE AND REASONING
3)USING 12TH BOARD RESULT IS A GOOD IDEA AS FOUNDATION COURSE FOOLED A LOT OF STUDENT

  • Jaishil shah says:

i respect the decision taken by the governement of our country there are many good points bt as well as has some bad side
-The system throughout the country is not similar in some states one may find sem system in 11th as well as 12th where govt is declarin that they would consider all four semesters (i am talkng about gujarat).then what will be weightage for such board??
I would like to suggest to hav a pilot project in some region or to have a unique way through out the country for 10+2

  • Ashish Kumar says:

My opinions in favour of ISEET are along the following lines:

    1. Firstly, for those who are under the view that the quality of students going to the IITs will be hampered due to inclusion of board marks, please consider what follows.Let us suppose that your friend scores 5 % marks better than you in boards. In case of IIT MAINS exam, this just means that he will have an advantage of 15 marks over you which is roughly equivalent of 3-4 questions getting correct in the MAINS examination. Once the 50,000 students have been filtered out by this exam, there will be no advantage as such for any of these students to compete for the ADVANCED exam which will be the sole determinant for these students to enter the IITs.Here, no consideration what-so-ever would be given to the boards nor to the MAINS exam. Indeed, a fair system procedure for IIT entrance.

2.Secondly,if you care about NITs’ quality going down, there is no need to worry as such. Most of the population in the NITs’ are the students of the same percentage range in boards 65-90 %.This means that the marks in boards are in a very well compliance with the results of AIEEE so far.

3.Thirdly, a capable student will come under the light of the world if he has what it takes to be someone great, no matter where his academics take place or what the education system is. Remember many great personalities didn’t go to the best of schools of their times but came out great due to their daily perseverance and desire to do well in their respective fields.
4.Fourthly, to top it all, procedure like ISEET have been followed in countries like US and Russia for quite sometime now. So,the pre-battle plan has worked elsewhere and hope it works here too.

  • Divya Pratap Srivastava says:

The idea of ISEET which is being implemented from 2013 onwards may be considered a mixed treat, but on a closer peek at it seems to come along with much more drawbacks than its positive aspects. I am an IIT aspirant myself and my assertion is based on the following facts :-

    Positive Aspects:-
    1. A common entrance for all reputated national engineering institutions is really a brilliant idea, thus saving aspirants from filling numerous forms.
    2. The inclusion of mental reasoning ability test in the entrance exams will also help the aspirants to recognise and improve their problem solving skills.
    3. The ISEET score stands for 2 years and meamwhile the aspurants may give multiple attempts to improve their scores, which means we have a chance to give our best in ISEET.

    Drawbacks:
    1. The incluson of weightage according to 10+2 boards results, means extra extra burden on the students. This means, the probability of performing well of a potential student will be drastically reduced just because if he fails to do well in 12th boards, thus significantly narrowing down the scope of improvement in the future if one cant perform well in boards.
    2. The conditions for getting admitted into the IITs are even more disappointing considering the 50% weightage given to 12 boards exams and the mind harassing filtering process involved in it.
    3. The implementation of the new reforms is being made at such short notice that most students will find it difficult to adjust themselves accordingly. The problem is even worse for the students who passed class 12 this year because they didn’t even know that the 12 boards results, (which they have been neglecting for the sake of getting into the IITs) are gonna lower their chances of being an IITian. Surely, this unfortunate batch of students will find these changes disappointing.

Thus, as a concluding note, I would just like to say that the goodies brought by this transition are far more less than the drawbacks it contains. These reforms are just a formal and more decent way of saying that ”if a student can’t perform well in the 12 boards, then such a person has got no right to improve ever again in the future”.

  • narinder kumar says:

i think this is a good idea because the student have a competation of national level and student have chance to show there minds into national stage because student are expecting they can crack only state level exam but does not apply for iitaieee but now if student have the quality of iitaieeestate collages then it will get that type of collages but one think is that govt have to give all detail about how times student can give iseet and about the complete syllabus and also publish model paper and date of apply for iseet, etc.

Yes i totally agree with this decision and i think that now we can anser properly why board cbse XII exams are conducted at national level (not like other class exams) under strict rule and regulations and lessen the burden of various exmas on students.

I dont think there is any need to tell them the negative effects of this theory as they know it and surely have come up with some logic and formula to negate it.

Its Surely not a good move atleast some time should be given to students and teachers to prepare for such a drastic change if someone gone to kota and brought 75% and also got selected in iit with low rank or nit with low rank and if he wanted to improve then it will be hell for him making 1 exam is a great move but should not add weight-age to 12th board examination anf if they want to add up this then they should give some time to all of us………

  • Rajul Kumar Gohil says:

I am not fully satisfied by the decision. the should not be weightage to class 12 percetage as the difficulty of the CBSE paper changes every year. Also the Questions are repeated every year. A common entrance test is very good decision.

  • ashish says:

that’s good idea but weightage of class marks are not a good idea

  • Dhwani Mehta says:

i think that iseet is not a good idea.it gives only one chance to students.the students of following batch have only 9 or 10 months to understand this system. And those students who are preparing only for IIT from 8th or 9th classes are in big loss because ISEET has given 50% weitage to board examination and those students who are preparing for IIT have not give attention to board examination specially in gujarat board there is semister system and two semister are already gone and now they are talking for 50% weitage to board examination…that is very bad news for gujarati students who are preparing for IIT.

  • Sandeep says:

Its Gud 2 see govt taking an initiative to cut down the stress of students in handling multiple pressures of diff… exams….nd by the way its gud to have one common exam becoz (a) Its gonna create a sense and atmosphere of competition bcoz most of the time students take their 1st attemt in JEEs for granted thinking dat there`s one more chance,,,,bt now they hv 2 hit the bull`s eye….its lyk nw or never (b)For wards of poor people its hard to afford the application cost of so many different examinations it costs around 6000/- ISEET is gud to go

    • shankar says:

sorry mr. but if that single day is not your day then you can actually hit bulls that thing 😛 and then bull can take you away… ending up in any FALTU collage !!!!

      views about iseet ..
they are relying on boards which check your memory skills rather than your thinking skills…….
as far as application cost is concerned engg. is not that cheap …. you have to give about 70000 bucks each year …. any person giving this can easily give application cost ..
      🙂 🙂

  • manoj mantri says:

it is not compulsary that every student be able to score high in board and iit exam. and for the final merit list these bad marks of board could be a boulder.so i don’t like this pattern

  • Vikash Khandelwal says:

The worst thing about ISEET is that it takes board exam under consideration without standardizing the state board results. As state board gives very less marks while cbse gives much more marks .Please ask chse, orissa board how much marks they give .If the marks were given in a good co ordinate manner it would be better. One student if he secures 90 % in cbse will secure 70% in chse.

    • Vishal Lohkna says:

very true buddy. All boards have different level of examination. Like UP Board syllabus is the toughest board. 70% in UP board is equivalent to 85% of CBSE or HBSE. Now let people decide, would this selection criteria be fair to UP board students!!

  • SIRI L says:

IT WILL BE A GOOD STEP SO THAT STUDENTS/ASPIRANTS APPEAR FOR A SINGLE EXAM INSTEAD OF APPEARING FOR MULTIPLE ENTRANCE EXAMS ON DIFFERENT DATES SO THAT THEY CAN OPT TO JOIN ANY COLLEGE OF THEIR CHOICE ULTIMATELY IN ANY PART OF OUR COUNTRY.

In my opinion ISEET is a best idea for engineering entrance exam. In which board level percentage have been added. Also good think about this exam is that student have to perform only one exam for engineering. It remove some burden on student mind.
Because of this exam student have to cocentrate on their board examination. Till today student only concentarte on there entrance exam but now they have to concentrate on thier board mark.

Before the ISEET have been declared it was only a dream for the poor people to be in to IIT’S but it is now possible for also poor. And if anyone who is not doing well in the board exams will lose his place so that it would test the memory capacity and the ISEET will test the understanding capacity. And I think it will select better candidates for IIT than the candidates selected on the IIT-JEE exams and I hope even I can take place in the IIT due to ISSET and thanks for IIT’S and Mr.Kapil Sipil.

    • Vishal Lohkna says:

what are you saying yaar!! poor people dont really get good education for +2. And i dont think they would even stand a chance i 95+ % students. As there are thousands who score 95% and more. And moreover if the standard of entrance comes down it will only test your learning ability and cannot map your actual understanding capacity.

I,myself feel that iseet will horizon the hidden topper in everyone as they will get to realize the importance of each n every day when n while they are sitting before the books as it has become compulsory every 12th student to get concept wise learning n analytical thinking to get into their mind,no there in no chance for an average student to learn each day n day out…untill the idea of one jee, they might be betrayed of all those things which they can’t make everyday to study both entrance books and school books and at last ending at up low level…now the 12th board marks are important for entrance which is one and only can lower up the stress levels for about some bit with self motivation to tackle the obstacles every will have a right for themselves that not only a topper can make out to an entrance but even an average student too, when at last he becomes a topper…every average student thinks that i’m far from done to not getting a seat in an iit or nit.,i may be at the last to get ahead as couldn’t practice a bit exams though my friends are going roughly through exams and getting seats, with all this negative thinking a student might even forgets about the regular 12th board exams and ends up nothing as they think that it is too late for them…
But ever since isset evolutionised to take board exams marks into consideration,a student makes him self go rough and makes his/her dream come true by just learning the class room books and just about some practice even though they are not having the preface of the jee paper.and for those students who cannot afford themselves to pay huge amount of money to coaching centers can have smile at their face by just learning what they have…i personally feel that iseet will revolutiones the future of india even better than today and can generate lots of good knowledge activists accross the globe by raising the flag of india all over the world.

The idea of ISEET is a dangerous situation for students. It was made to stop the coaching business but in actual it will only lead to opening of more coaching institutions giving guidance for XII as well as Competitive exam. It wont change anything but the quality of students entering IIT’s will be very much low. Like if a student is very strong at PCM subjects but not with extras ( Physical Edu, Computer, English ) he is very much sure to qualify IITJEE but not with ISEET just because he will be not much good at boards. It will be a loss to IIT’s reputation in all over world!!!! coz its IIT – JEE exam that makes it reputed and not the institutions…

ISEET is not good idea.Intermediate plustwo weightage is more.

iit is one of the most competetive test in the world.
the new iit pattern is nothing but destruction of huge craze of iit among students.an iitian have the most matured and developed mind than any other educated personaity ex.doctor, advocate, leader, force, ias, and any other civil or other professionals.new pattern will maki iitian not a perfect engineer.syllabus will be of +2 also so one also have to study other subjects like english,pt,it along with pcm so burden on students will increase.i think that government have some profit with iseet than iit.if iit would become iseet engineers would be often found on roads

  • bilal says:

iseet should not come to existence before 2015.

  • Shahrukh uddin says:

I think this new pattern is completely wrong because everybody knows that there is a great difference between UP board marking and other board’ s marking system. except this there is an other problem of cheating , In board exams a weak student can get good marks by doing cheat.

  • anonymous says:

If a person has given boards in 2012 will the same marks will be applicable to iseet 2013. Then how will they calculate percentile scores?

  • ABC says:

if a student has given boards in 2012 n appears for iseet 2013, How will they calculate the percentile scores ?
Moreover different state boards is not an issue as they will calculate the percentile score of respective boards.

  • as says:

iseet goes to 2014. it is much stress full.

  • krishna chaitanya says:

    1. Yes, it is definitely beneficial for students as earlier they had to prepare for many engineering entrance tests, as ISEET implementation will reduce mental and financial burden on the student/parent and save time as well.
    2. Students will be relieved from anxiety and trauma caused due to different test syllabus and can concentrate on the single test thus improving the chances of getting admission to a good college.
    3. As ISEET will be conducted twice or more during a year and the scores will be valid for two years, students will have multiple chances to improve their scores.
    4. Students can feel relaxed and study better. They will no longer be required to deal with pressures related to Time and Money including Examination fees and travel expenses.

    • ROHAN says:

buddy y are u stressing upon the fact that it will reduce stress bcoz there will only be one examination….don’t u think that in the name of reducing stress they actually reducing our opportunities …what if u do not score in your boards, then irrespective of how man tries u give u’r neva gonna succeed…making students hopeless….nd this will cancel the option of preparing again after 12….!!!!! JUST GIVE IT A THOUGHT

My request to the HRD ministry is regarding the timing of iseet 2013,which i feel could be held from 2015 onwards otherwise could cause a lot of hardship to the students in the current year of examination. But as far as iseet is concerned it is a good decision.

  • rajneesh says:

in my opinion the idea of iseet will surely ruin the iit thing.

  • niharika says:

the latest news reports that iit kanpur shall have a separate entrance test.this means that the stress on students will increase.
Moreover,as a student from Andhra pradesh,I would like to inform that the question papers of the board examinations of +2 here are very easy.the preparation of 10days seriously results in a percentage of 97-99%.Even though normalization is done, more students without the required quality may get into the prestigious IITS. So, this idea of ISEET may spoil the brand name of iits

if we talk about iseet …….in my views its the best option our india can have .as knw this the time when we will know our placement in this whole country and the competiton level will be increased . know this is the time when evryone will also study harder for the board exams also neither they will get meshed up with the so many tutions.. being the student of indian school i also hated the no. of exams after 12th class. somebody will go for iit, aieee and many other exams. but whats the use of all this.becuz we want to knw that what we r upto and writing just one exam all over is the bestet option. and we will have a great future ahead. all the best for bright future ahead.iseet will surely workout for evry student in india.

  • sunil says:

Its never a good idea bcoz students have only option after 12th for engineering …students passed in2011 get stressed due to this
..i also have did the same bt under frustrated condition due to new pattern…so this system shops take a long for implementation….

  • sandeep says:

conducting ISEET is not a problem but implementing it in the year 2013 is not a right decision. Many students who completed 1st year in 2012 have focussed on IIT,AIEEE,etc. hoping that there would normal JEE entrance test which was without IPE exams weightage. but pattern of ISEET holds weightage of IPE marks which was not given importance by students & institutions. It is profit to students (EAMCET) who wrote exams well due to weightage of IPE marks in EAMCET.Now those
students are eligible to get top seats ISEET but students who prepared for IIT-JEE, AIEEE… will not get seats and also if they get seat they’ll get last seats due to weightage. Now if ISEET is implemented weightage may be given in 2nd year IPE marks or it should be implemented in the year 2014.

Hello i think it is not good time to become single entrance test at the place of iit-jee& aieee because the level of iit-jee is very best to test the student level .i think iseet will conduct in year 2013-14 so student will prepare themself for board examination and for new pattern.
If HRD ministre and all council which conduct the exam want to conduct in 2013 then they have opportunity to deliever the right answer with model paper so student will prepare them sef for iseet…
SO i request to HRD ministre Mr. Kapil Sibbal it is very confusionable time for student that iseet will become in 2013 or not.please give answer fast with model papers so we start our dropper batch with new pattern.
    shubham wadekar.
    thanking you

  • Prateek singh says:

Iseet is very good format of entrance in competitions like iit as preparation of competitions eat the school studies… But it will be considered much better if only pcm marks will be counted because optional subjects make large margins in percentages and can become a badluck for students….
