This seems to be an absurd decision as the board of different states are different. Go step by step. It seems that HRD minister is in a hurry to do something whether right or wrong, in his tenure. First go for a common board (class XI-XII) all over India and then only weightage to board exams will be feasible. Go for a single exam only when all the states agree for this concept and with three or four states opting for it will be useless. Mr HRD minster should go for a common consensus among states and then only implement this common exam. We have seen last years’ fate of NEET which was opposed by their own ally Smt. Mamta Banarjee and this year to we don’t expect many states to agree for NEET (Medical) or ISEET???? IIT pattern will be changed from 2013, will it replace AIEEE, will it cover all the states. With these halfhearted announcement the students are getting confused.
Dude you forgot various institutes…
