After the verdict of ‘reject’ from IIT Kanpur and IIT Delhi, HRD ministry has called upon a special emergency meeting of IIT council on 27th June. In a press release, HRD ministry said, “The uncertainty faced by the student community, consequent to the resolutions of the Senates of IIT Kanpur and IIT Delhi, requires to be addressed. On 21st June, IIT Delhi also joined and declared that they will conduct a separate entrance examination in 2013.
