After the verdict of ‘reject’ from IIT Kanpur and IIT Delhi, HRD ministry has called upon a special emergency meeting of IIT council on 27th June. In a press release, HRD ministry said, “The uncertainty faced by the student community, consequent to the resolutions of the Senates of IIT Kanpur and IIT Delhi, requires to be addressed.
